Just arrived in Ho Chi Minh City.
I haven't met any Americans since I've arrived but there was one Australian I bumped into in a pizza shop here. A nice fellow from the Australian Consulate who confessed he'd been here too long. Having just arrived and being quite taken by the place I could only imagine how he felt. Perhaps Vietnam is a place you either love or hate or maybe some strange mixture of the two together.
