Not much here.

There isn't a hell of a lot in Mongolia. There's wide open spaces and just about every domesticated animal outnumber the local inhabitants. But that's the appeal of Mongolia. It has been a much needed break from China where there''s too much of everything.

I spent last night out in the countryside in a Ger camp. These are the traditional homes of the nomadic Mongols. The only activities there, apart from eating, was horseback riding and archery. Although I really enjoyed just being. There''s something about the endless rolling grassy hills that is magical.

Tomorrow it''s back on the train for a day and a half to Russia and Lake Baikal.
