10 Things I Won't Miss

It was only just now that as I was cleaning out old boxes and getting ready for more travel and a big move that I came across these notes from my last big adventure. It was a list of things I wasn't going to miss about China during a winter break between seasons as a tour leader.

Fiji citizens sue government

The top news story in the Fiji Sunday Times today is that 60 Fijians have sued the British government. Their successful court case won them compensation for the ill effects caused by nuclear tests conducted in the Pacific between 1952 and 1958.

Off to Fiji

I'm just about to head off to the airport to fly to Fiji for a mate's wedding. Haven't flown Air Pacific before. I hope its not too crowded or even worse lots of kids.

If I like it there I might even buy myself a little farm on Fiji, and get a sheep and a cow, and breed horses.
