With a few spare minutes I thought I'd put together a little list of some of the highlights of the places I've visited since I left Sydney in March.
They say travel broadens the mind so after almost one month in Central America I thought I should be able to list at least 10 things I´ve learn´t about this corner of the world.
Flying into Cancún late last night after a whole day waiting at Houston airport probably didn't put me in the most positive frame of mind. That and paying three times as much to get from the airport to my hostel as I had planned. On the upside the 40 or so minute shuttle ride did give me a look at the tourist enclave know as the Zona Hotelera (hotel zone). It is this that's given me my first impression.
It was only just now that as I was cleaning out old boxes and getting ready for more travel and a big move that I came across these notes from my last big adventure.
The top news story in the Fiji Sunday Times today is that 60 Fijians have sued the British government.
I'm just about to head off to the airport to fly to Fiji for a mate's wedding. Haven't flown Air Pacific before. I hope its not too crowded or even worse lots of kids.
If I like it there I might even buy myself a little farm on Fiji, and get a sheep and a cow, and breed horses.
