Book Design concept
This 'cookbook' is an exercise in book layout. It employs an index system along the foot of each right page for easy browsing. It explores the presentation of information in a digital and interactive world and the influence that has on traditional print mediums.

Din-Bold promotion
This pamphlet design employs the concept of the road trip. It's linear progression from panel to panel documents the stages of a journey - an exploration of the font, from starting point to destination. The use of strong linear elements ties the panels together as the typeface is presented in a playful manner.

Z-stool
The inspiration for the Z Stool came from the way milk crates have been recontextualised as domestic furniture. It is intended for use as either a stool or as a coffee table when two are placed together. In the same way the milk crate shows it's structure and it's contents the Z Stool shows it's support and connecting structure on the outside. Of prime concern in this project was ensuring that the stool looked nothing like a cardboard box. *stool (stu:l) n. 1. a simple seat or footrest consisting of a small flat piece of wood resting on three or four legs. 2. a rockstock or base of a plant from which shoots are produced. 3. a cluster of shoots growing from such a base. 4. a decoy used in hunting. 5. waste matter evacuated from the bowels.
