It’s not that I didn’t like London, I was having a pretty wild time playing rugby with the lads and going out on the lash after the game. As well as my weekly sporting and drinking fixtures I spent some of my time engaged in more cultural pursuits. Visits to the British Museum in London, art zine launches in Leeds and a rather ill conceived late night taxi ride to Slough where I saw the building that features in the opening credits of the BBC comedy ‘The Office’.
...this is the start of what was.
Very exciting day!
Today I found out I've been accepted to become a Group Leader with a tour company. Also on my walk in the sun during lunch it started to snow. What a great day!
This time it was with Ryan Air rather than the Luftwaffe but London was hit pretty hard. And it turns out he wasn''t just here to pick up an uniform from his friend Harry.
Thanks to Jens & Simon for flying all the way over from Germany for a weekend in London. Simon started his day on Friday in Saxony and ended it on a dorm floor in some university campus after dodging the snakebite spillage all night at the Walkabout. While Jens, who doesn't drink beer gave in to the temptation of the snakebite Simon couldn't be convinced to break the German purity law and kept to Larger all weekend.
A list of a few things that ARE and AREN'T London in terms of my experience so far.
Yeah it's expensive but it seems like a great place to live.
